Housing:
- Southeast Louisiana Legal Services provides free, civil legal aid for qualifying Louisiana residents. They can provide legal assistance for landlord-tenant issues.

Phone & Internet Access:
- Qualifying limited income households and households participating in the National School Lunch Program and Head Start can receive internet access from AT&T at $10 a month. New Access from AT&T customers receive two months of free service. Call 855-220-5211 for more information.
Unemployment:
- If your workplace has temporarily closed or you have been told to take unpaid time off, you may be eligible for unemployment benefits through the Louisiana Workforce Commission. To file a claim, go to www.louisianaworks.net/hire or call 866-783-5567.
Medicaid:
- If you have lost your job or if you have reduced hours you may be eligible for Medicaid. You can apply online at MyMedicaid.la.gov. You can also apply by phone by calling 1-888-342-6207 or by mail by sending information to:

Domestic Abuse:
- For domestic violence of sexual assault service, call Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response (STAR) 1-855-435-STAR (7827).
Mental Health:
- The Louisiana Department of Health has set up a counseling hotline with the following instruction: “Please call 1-866-310-7977 if you need help dealing with anxiety and other mental health issues during these difficult times. Trained counselors are available 24/7. All calls are confidential.”[1]
- If you or a loved one are feeling overwhelmed by this emergency, please call 211 for assistance at any time. 211’s phone and text are “a safe space for anyone who is going through a hard time, having thoughts about suicide, or just needs to talk. Crisis Intervention Specialists are ready to listen, provide emotional support and help you develop a safety plan if necessary. Specialists are not here to judge or tell you what you should do." [2]

- Any driver's licenses that expire between March 9, 2020 - May 10, 2020 will be valid until May 20, 2020.
Financial Assistance:
- Louisiana Service and Hospitality Family Assistance Program: The Greater New Orleans Foundation Service and Hospitality Family Assistance Program will award grants of up to $1,000 to support service and hospitality industry employees who are primary caregivers for dependent children and elderly parents. Applicants must live in either: Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, or Washington parishes.
