Danielle Blanco serves as the Director of Human Resources and Administration at the ACLU of Louisiana, where she leads the development and execution of HR and Administration strategies that align with the organization’s mission and objectives. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise in HR, talent management, and operations leadership. With a proven track record of developing robust, inclusive, and efficient operations and human resource services, Danielle is committed to fostering a culture of transparency, feedback, and accountability while prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

With a diverse career background spanning education and non-profit sectors, Danielle has previously served in various leadership roles with schools and non-profits. Additionally, she has leveraged her expertise as a consultant, offering strategic guidance and support to both local and nationwide non-profits. In these capacities, Danielle has excelled in strategic planning, employee engagement, and operational efficiency, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to driving positive change and fostering organizational growth.

As a senior certified HR professional (SHRM-SCP) and an active member of both national and local SHRM chapters, Danielle leverages her knowledge and skills to implement best practices in HR processes and operations.

In addition to her role at the ACLU, Danielle is deeply engaged in her community and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Junior League of New Orleans, and a writer for the New Orleans Mom. A native New Orleanian, she is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and resides in Gentilly with her husband and two sons.
